First off big welcome and hello! You’ve likely just joined (because I just created this group a week ago haha) and I wanted to check in with you to get your take on ideas for what we can do together in this group.

If you don’t know me from my other profiles (Tanya Kucey Art or The Artful Desk), I love all styles of art, but mostly watercolour portraiture. The Substack art community is awesome, but I couldn't find a place to chat up people that just love making faces. So here I am.

You're here probably for the same reason: you want to hang out with some like minded folks too. Maybe talk about what you're going through as a portrait artist. See what other people are creating, join an art challenge or work along session get inspired and all that good jazz.

So let's make that happen!

I’ve got some ideas on how create some connection and play time with each other in this little community we're creating. But I want to hear what you have to say! So vote in on the poll and if you don’t see what you want, add suggestions in the comments or feel free to send me a Direct Message.

If you are like me, you'll probably want to answer more than one of these. Unfortunately Substack doesn't offer that unless you create a reader survey. And in my experience - nobody answers those. So share in the comments.
